The Miners´ Route, is Germany´s Quality Hiking Trail. It connects the Visitors Mine „Grube Fortuna“ with Wetzlar and with the Braunfels Castle. Both these stages are found on the Lahn Hiking Trail – the Lahnwanderweg. On this hiking trail, there are many exciting things to see regarding the 2,500 year old mining tradition in this part of the Lahn valley – the Lahntal.
